Now the right hand. You will learn J, K, L and the semicolon key, and then keep both hands ready on the home row.
Place the index finger of your right hand on J (feel the bump), the middle finger on K, the ring finger on L and the little finger on ; (semicolon). Your left hand rests on A S D F as before.
The right little finger is the weakest one for most people. The semicolon key is its job. Go slowly and press it with a gentle, straight movement.
Watch for this: Many beginners let the right hand float above the keyboard. Keep the fingertips lightly on the keys between presses.
